Thanks. I figured it may be them as smithf80 and Insight seems to be doing a very good job for folks.

That is a good discount on the 40i. Hopefully you are getting the base 3.99% along with the APR credit.

4.99%
They are saying 4.99% is the best they can do and they don't participate in this BMW summer even promotion with 3.99% |

They are BS'ing you. What they mean is that they mark up the base the 1% they are allowed to do. Still a decent rate with a good discount and APR credit so I would say overall you did well.

My thoughts exactly, still think this is a good enough deal, the only thing I would really miss is glass controls, I wish it can be added as standalone feature but not going to pay $3900 for the executive package. I still have time to think about it before I pull the trigger. Thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Nice. You should add DAPP. You won’t regret it.

I am one of these weird folks who really enjoys driving car myself and even being a tech person I don't trust technology to make decisions for me. Don't even use regular cruise control in my 2014 X5, my wife is driving Tesla model Y, I tested FSD and that thing is scary AF.

Currently I have a 40i custom order in stage 111 as of a few days ago, still need to check my projected production date.
MSRP of $83,325 was able to work out 8% off plus $4k military totaling $72,670, or $76,775 OTD. Dealer I purchased through just got almost my exact spec but in a 60i today sticker of $101,825 and is available. What are the chances I can get OTD under $90k at 4.15% sales tax? Would put it at roughly 12% off MSRP before military discount. |

Anyone have any leads for dealers offering 10% off or so on ordering? PCD so it does not matter where I order from.
Thanks for the help!

Is the 3.9% rate only for the 40i model?
I have 3.9% now on my 2022 F95 and have been thinking of upgrading to a 2025 model.

I am in the Houston area and looking to custom order a loaded X5 40i ($83,175). Are 8-10% discounts off MSRP still available for these cars?
I am looking to trade in a 2019 Lincoln Navigator Reserve L with 46k miles (trade-in est. $40k). Does a trade typically help discounts? Or non factor? Here is my current build for X5. https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...o0ofl0/summary Thanks! |

I suggest when negotiating the price you do not mention any trade-in. First work on the discount and once that is finalized then see what they will offer you on a trade-in. I think it is easier and clearer to make it two different negotiations so they are tempted to pad the discount by low balling the trade. I'm sure we will have some of your Texan brethren chime in with dealer recommendations.

Texas here! TurtleBoy is correct about 8% - 10% being doable, but it may not be in Texas. I have to admit up here in Northern Texas, the market is saturated with money. So BMW dealerships aren't giving those type of discounts. So I went with a broker and got a 8% deal out of state on a custom build MY25 X6 X40i. So, if you dont mind paying the brokerage fee and having your new car shipped to you then this could be a good option for you.
