Been super busy, Phil. Audit a couple/few weeks ago, Seattle trip to visit the girls, rental properties all acting up, looking for another one in Plano, TX, dogs, trip planning, holiday party planning/scheduling, and other life stuff. I did manage to score a SureFire SF-M1 IR illuminator yesterday. A couple guys came over with a metric shit ton of gear.

About here in Belgium..
Work....work ....work and even more work with of course the necessary stress and burnouts !
This week I need to start AM wich means 4:30 AM and think that kills me .
When a person knows when he going to sleep with the fact of 4:30 AM in his head...Don't think you can sleep relaxed .
In other words lack of sleep and get in concentration troubles .
Belgian gouverment announced on newspapers and newsflash that water and electricity prices increase with 25-30 % in price !
And from 1/1/2016 car taxes too ...Of course my 2000 Euro's of yearly driver tax is still not enough !
So actually nothing positive over here in this fucking country ..

All that means is that if you have the salary of a king, the government will take a larger percentage. The US has one of the highest ratios when it comes to income inequality, which leads to calls for a redistribution of wealth. California leads the way in tax burdens...3rd, I believe (check Tax Foundation). That doesn't even take into account non-legislative increases to user fees.

You may want to reconsider getting off the hamster wheel, if you ever want to find a nice girl and settle down.

It's a beautiful day here in Vancouver!!! Sun is shining, and I can see the snow-capped mountains for the first time this season. Gorgeous!

I went and bought flood insurance, JUST IN CASE El Nino comes to see us this year. $430 for the year, with a $1250 deductible.

I'm finally a 1/2%er!! We are in a 500 year flood zone, but my neighbors are assholes and can't always keep their water on their side of the fence. I've put up block walls now, and it helps a bit more.

I've had pumps running under my raised foundations in the past, so . . . $250K structure, $100K contents. $430 seems like a very good trade, but now it probably won't even rain. . .
