I think you missed the point of my post, Crabman.
The quote was the X5M ChatGPT "intentional roast," which I found pretty funny. |

No, I got that he was having fun with it, and I laughed myself, but I'll get back to that.
The X5M is absurd, grotesque, outrageous, but in a good, laugh out loud sort of way. Humor works best when it's grounded in some real world basis, and I laughed because it was funny, but also because he so badly missed the mark, I'm guessing he's never driven the car. |

Monaco this time, GCA before that, am guessing it's all the same Alibaba stuff so wherever you can find in stock for the LCI. Got the CF grille and mirror caps, both fit well without issues.

Well.... first car I actually bought in over 10 years back in August, just lost significant value yesterday. So disappointed as I really liked this one.
Got rear ended yesterday on the Throggs Neck Bridge. Damage to the rear bumper and visible and audible damage to the exhaust system. Even though I know the damage can be repaired, my OCD will make me see her as "tainted", from here on out. After repairs are completed, I'll probably just eat the loss and start over next year after a sale or trade.

Wow, so sorry to hear. Glad you're alright...it looks like the Toyota had the worst damage from the accident.

I felt bad for the Toyota driver, as well. I helped her out until law enforcement and medical services got on scene. She definitely took a steering wheel to the face, so had to control her bleeding while we waited for the recovery assets. X6M took the impact better that I thought. The impact was powerful enough to lift me out of my seat, so I expected the damage to be much worse than it actually is after all said and done.

Sorry to hear. That sucks but the car did really well considering the toyota was demolished.
The damage looks cosmetic from what i could tell but you would have to pull the bumper off to really know if it damaged anything else in there.

That sucks! Glad you're OK and hopefully the damage is just cosmetic and you can get past your OCD.
I almost got rear ended on the highway the other day. Damn pick up truck wasn't paying attention as traffic backed up. Good thing I'm always in my mirror and I shifted to the shoulder to avoid it. Asshole. And you know what I was thinking? Please no, I don't want a new BMW.

I know we were both a bit apprehensive before deciding to buy out our leases. After buying mine out, my plan was to hold onto her until 2028. We'll see how the repairs go, now. I'm watchful for potential rear-end accidents, as well. It's so frustrating to see the amount of people who drive distracted. Unfortunately, I didn't have anywhere to go as I was in the middle lane on the bridge with cars all around (you know what the bridges look like at 5pm on a Monday) when I saw the Toyota's trajectory... all I could do is brace for the impact. If I tried to evade her, I would have had to make contact with some other car to the left or right of me.
