Any New Uk X5's Coming Without Ordered Spec/Options?

order status is 195, meaning its on a ship......The last genius said it was in the uk. I think its at the port or on a ship waiting to get to the uk instead of being in customs in the uk.

I'm currently unclear if mine is on a ship or waiting for one. But just happy it has moved into what I hope is a more normal flow of vehicle transportation!

I'll hold off hassling genius until after the weekend.

could be wrong but I think 195 would imply it is in the UK already.... 190 is on the boat would be my understanding....is 'Port of Exit' not final destination? i.e. Southhampton or Dublin in my case?

Port of exit is nominally at port in the country of manufacture.

I just goto bmw.co.uk, and give them my build reference number. It can be really slow to respond at times.

The dealer on the other hand only ever calls when they need something. Not ever to update me.

Spoke to a BMW genius and they were actually quick to respond on the web chat today, my car is in the UK (status 9650?) and awaiting collection by my dealership. Im collecting on the 7th March all going well when I am back from holiday.

Finally, it's starting to look promising

I have been using this UK number and press 1 for general inquiries +448000640360 once you have an order number or VIN they should give you an update... p.s. don't be surprised if they give you a completely different status to the dealer!

ColC is right, I only just figured this out. It seems the bmw website is a bit flakey with chat integration. Go to bmw.co.uk and you'll get straight through.

Agreed, that's exactly my experience. Been signing in and navigating to the online genius webpage then trying to get web chat to work from there and never had it work, went to bmw.co.uk today and got straight through to someone who was very helpful.

Fingers crossed we are off the boat now with this weather!

yes I was a December build 22nd just before XMAS (ordered mid October)... mine seemed to be in Bremerhaven for about 2-3 weeks I had the AMP issue against mine also but that was fixed last week.

I see this morning it's at 193 so assuming it is in Zeebrugge now and will ship to Dublin this week all going well maybe collection next week....

hopefully you get some news soon lots of people in the same situation

I got a status 9650, its out of customs and awaiting to go to the dealers. est 23rd Feb. Finally going to get some closure on this.

It's encouraging to hear that some vehicles are finally moving but mine is still stuck on status 9000 which it's been for the past 10 weeks.

Looking forward to seeing some pics posted of vehicles actually landed at the dealers, it would give me continued hope that one day my car will arrive!
