The 4C driver racing it clearly unprepared for the first time ever with the express attitude "I wanted to show off a little", was a red flag. The steering wheel hand positioning of the 4C driver was also a red flag (didn't know the importance of the 9 and 3 o'clock positioning). Almost losing control at Kleines Karussell (Schwalbenschwanz) was a humbling warning he failed to heed. Of course easy for all of us to point this out from our comfortable seats. We all can crash. But overconfidence ("I wanted to show off a little") on a treacherous race track was a big part of the equation here.

Glad I found this one, car is all stock at 560bhp.
''The M2 that I drove earlier was more difficult to handle than this car'' M5 is fitted with P Zeros which were getting hot. With MPS4S I'd guess corner speeds would be taken quicker. Last edited by M5Rick; 08-21-2024 at 09:20 AM.. |

It definitely should alleviate the insane traffic jams at the roundabout... I was down there a few weeks ago and the queue between entering the TF entrance, heading to the auxiliary lots or trying to head into town or out onto the L93 was nuts. I've never seen it that bad. This seems like a great idea.

I've heard that as of 2025, most of the German insurance companies are changing there terms especially the ones regarding or concerning the Nürburgring. The legal liability insurance will no longer be valid on the Nürburgring. That means that while driving Tourist Drives in their own car they will no longer be insured. Something that was already the case for most Dutch drivers and insurance companies. Don't know about other countries, but it ads more risk to what already is fairly risky.
