If I may digress- Route 287 is a stone chip nightmare. Lots of dump trucks coming and going on that highway.

Nice pic! I am a fan of the SUV coupe styling but the new body x6 m50i's I've seen look atrocious. I love first gen X6 and current gen GLE Coupe and Cayenne Coupe.

If I were in market for the sportiest SUV would be X5M

Then again I'm not target market rather drive our very comfortable RRS and own a sports car

Of course RR interface looks like a 10 out of 10 with 3 screens operates as a 2 or 3 out of 10 much worse than X5 however very very comfortable car with presence

In person I don't like Toronto red on suvs
I love red but when I saw a X3M with it it was just too bright on such a large car. I would assume X5 and X6 will look the same although in the coupe form it will probably look better.

Large boxy suvs need a darker red
Agreed. I have an X3MC in DG and yesterday I saw one in Toronto Red. IMO...not pretty.

I feel the same way. Didn't like how the X4M or X6M looked on BMW's website, but was next to a X4M on the way to work this morning and it was gorgeous! I'm sure the X6M will look even better.

These will be beasts. But sorry BMW Audi got my money this time around. Got the first build slot for RS6 at a local dealer. I don't expect it to lose half it's value in 3 years like these will.

It's going to take a long time for me to get used to that ugly rear end. And that giant black grille. I'll wait 3 years when they are reasonably priced.

Congrats but I feel kind of bad for you I had, as normally typical BMW M guy, the RS6 (C7) before and what shall I say: it is a totally different driving experience. Sure, power on the straight but neither sporty feeling nor any emotional experience. There is a total lack of sports car feeling in all Audi and Audi RS models. Best example is the new youtube video press test between M5, AMG GT 4 and new RS7.

There is only one Audi which is an exemption and that is the R8 (which I also drove for a whole weekend).

But lookwise, they are looking good, no question there....in particular, the new RS models look dope

another topic: someone mentioned that these cars on the truck are for the media launch/test. Does anyone know when this will be exactly?????

thanks and cheers

I'll check out the video but for me this will be replacing a DD pick up truck. Will be plenty sporty for me for its use case. I love the looks and the interior. Performance is a plus. If I need to scratch the "real sports" car itch that when I take out my manual GT3 😬 first world problems..

Every time I see an RS7 sport back I cant stop staring. There's a guy in my neighborhood that has two of them. White one and a blue one. Both of them dropped with wheels and exhaust. . Damn they look and sound good. It was on my list but picked the M3 CS. I have to agree about performance and driving experience. They just are not hard edged enough for me. Those BMW M boys are a bunch of crazy cowboys over there across the pond. They know what we like.

Agree with you regarding NA executive vehicles, as the press previously went to COLA for the F85/F86 launch. I will check with a contact of mine who is in the automotive press when BMW AG is flying the international press over the to States for the G85/G86 track reviews.

Front drive car I pass on Audi's every time with their transverse front drive platform with Quattro. Inherently bad proposition being front drive based. They do a decent job of overcoming the design flaw with Quattro and moving the engine back but still....

Every time I drive an Audi I'm disappointed with overboasted steering and understeer inherent to FWD VW design

Audi's are the biggest depreciation of MB , BMW, and Audi

RS6 looks amazing will drive like an Audi and depreciate like one.
