This happened to someone with a G80 just recently as well. A few people made mention that people may be stealing them just to go resell them on eBay…so if you go that route look to see if the seller is local, may just very well be your same part! 😬

I see you're in the Netherlands. This unfortunately happens quite a bit in western Europe. We all know who's behind this and where the parts are going. Same thing happened to my uncle. Guy broke into this car and stole strategic high-value parts from the interior. Just be glad you don't have a Porsche.

Part cost is about 2,600 euro/dollar without install (tbc). Very common theft lately in Europe as it is easy to steal, costs a lot and parts supply is scarce. Takes up to three days to replace as the component needs to be restored or smth similar to the car.

So sorry that happened to you, scary to see people just ripping parts off cars now a days to make a quick buck. Where I live in NY about an hour from NYC, we’ve had a lot of high end and exotic cars stolen overnight and driven over state lines within a matter of hours. Too fast to catch.
