Yes dear, I did. I picked it up Sat pm. It was a beautiful day for it too. Of course I took the long way home along some backwoods twisty roads and finished up with a quick sprint on the highway for the last 15 kms. I love how this old car works and handles.
You had some fun this weekend too I see. It's been a long time since I've been to Fundy Park, probably over 35 years.

I got as far as Hopewell a few years ago. I took a visiting friend to see the flowerpots. That'll baffle some here on the forum.

I used to travel along the NB coast all the way to Dalhousie for work years ago. That can be a long drive if you have to do it as opposed to want to do it. I would often stop in Bathurst for the night. I'll never forget how a local described the town to me one night. With a very heavy french accent she said "Baturst, the city of a town where the men walk down the street a side by each." I'll have to take a weekend trip up there sometime.

You mean Hopewell...They have a decent restaurant there but you have to get there early. The place is crawling with tour buses and RVs.

EXACTLY! That is always my first thought - why do you want a POS 117HP car to SOUND fast? The station wagon next to you is 1/2 a car length back after 500 feet.....and they were not even racing you! Embarrassing. It's like the sound is more important than the speed.

I don't get it, but I'm old - so I guess I am not supposed to get it. I also don't get spending $400 on an outfit to loo like a baggy HOBO either, so I chalk it up to age.
