Your location shows as Texas, the vehicle never will go to a VPC/VDC. Are you maybe getting accessories with your build? If so, it will go to the Accessories Center and show At the Port for the status, perhaps he/she is referring to that.

Dumb questions - what is VPC/VDC? Would cargo area mat and hitch require trip to Accessories Center? If I am doing PCD, what status would I expect to see once vehicle leaves QC?

My third bmw in West TX. It’ll come via a carrier.

In every situation, I never seemed to get the same story when talking to Dealer and Genius. So I just go with trying to be patient

Mine is dispatched from factory as of today. Should only be a day or two to be at dealer unless they stop for some more quality injection.

They are referred to as VDC's (Vehicle Distribution Center) now, formerly VPC (Vehicle Processing Center). For the X5 they don't come into play, they are for vehicle's being shipped from overseas. Here is a little article on them. https://bimmerlife.com/2018/08/11/a-...bution-center/

The hitch is installed during assembly but since the cargo mat is an accessory on your build then it will go to the Accessories Center to be installed prior to going to PCD. You will likely see At the Port and At the Dealership as well as possibly dispatched.

At the dealership, probably pick it up tomorrow. It was 2 days from SC to FL via truck.

Well, over two weeks now without an movement out of QC.

Anyone else still stuck? Or am I the last of week 39ers?

On the flip side, I’m happy for all the week 40 and 41 folks who appear to be sailing smoothly through production.

Dealer called me Thursday to say assembly was finished.

But no change ever in QC since 9/23

Wow, you guys have my sympathies and I was "only" in QC for 10 days. Just picked mine up today and sorting out all the new toy fun. Everything looks operational so far.
