Ticking noise on slow speeds when cornering

Has anyone experienced this before? When driving on low speeds and turning the wheel you hear a ticking noise on the front left side.

Apparently the solution is to add a “friction washer/ring” between the drive flange of the wheel bearing and brake disc.

But the kicker is that the bmw bulletin suggestion is only for the F model with a 5x120 bolt patterns and this shouldn’t be a problem for the G model…

Anyone had this issue?

Totally different car, but my old Honda Accord had a clicking noise when turning right, coming from the right front wheel area. Turned out to be a bad cv joint.
