3rd row seat BMW X5

Hi ,
I ordered my car with a 3rd row seat +air suspension when it was available online , I was scheduled for production , and then pushed back to order received , now I’m again scheduled for production , for week 11, my option of the 3rd row still there but is anybody know or been through it , they will cancel it or not ? Because it’s not an option no more in any X5 and nobody really give me info about that , thank you

I'm in the same boat, just week nine. I have a call into my CA asking for an update, but predictably haven't heard. I'll let you know what I find out!

Ordered in late December, but not placed until an allocation opened up in late January.

Does anyone else have any insight on third rows???

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I'm confirmed for build week 08, unless it was pushed back. Hoping for a VIN# any day. Because mine is a military order out of Germany, my order was placed and confirmed back in late August. It's been a long wait, but I knew that going into it.

Fingers crossed we all get what we ordered.

I got my VIN today for my week 9 build, and the third row seat and air suspension still show up in my garage.

Does that mean I'm in the clear???

You should be good. If there is a sudden parts shortage they will likely push back your production rather than building it without them.

Because all the X5 are from South Carolina

I ordered through the BMW Military Sales dealer in Germany. It will be built in South Carolina, but the purchase itself is through them.

From what I understand it has already been built and with the 3rd row seat/air suspension. My CA at the dealership in Germany did not notify me of any changes made when I asked for an update yesterday. It's currently scheduled to be in Germany by the week of April 4th. By then I will know 100% it has been built to my specifications.

It's an interesting program because eventually this vehicle will end up in Alaska lol. But given the discounts and being able to order exactly what I wanted, it's well worth the wait.

From what I understand it has already been built and with the 3rd row seat/air suspension. My X5 is built to US spec as it will be shipped to Port Hueneme in California eventually and I will be picking it up from there and driving it to Seattle and then shipping it back home to Anchorage, Alaska.

The only reason it's going to Germany is because that's where BMW Military Sales are based out of.

Has your X5 entered production yet?
