Hello, going to buy 22'' 742M style wheels for my new X5 45e, these wheels will be for spring/summer/fall no snow seasons only.

As I see these will fit:

Product ID: 36-11-2-470-488

Pirelli Pzero PZ4 Luxury Xl 369041
Product ID: 36-11-2-470-486

What other options do I have?

I also just picked up the 22 OEMs in black and am searching for the best tire option.

Tirerack has an ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE ALL-SEASON option that might seem like a good call if it has better tread life.

From everyone's experience, what is the best tire for the 22 OEMs?

500 is a high tread life rating for the brand, but you can't compare tread life ratings between different brands

Looking further into it, the PIRELLI P ZERO ALL SEASON tires seem like a compelling choice due to the PIRELLI NOISE CANCELLING SYSTEM (PNCS) which supposedly "reduces noise by half."

This is likely what I'll be replacing my Contis with when that day comes.

Last I looked, the front two were on backorder. Any idea how long they're going to take to ship?

Front two are still on backorder as you said, but they let you buy them. They said an estimate of 30-60 days, but they have no idea. I will keep thread updated when they ship.

Pirellis can be hard to come by. Some people have had luck tracking them down through Bentley dealerships. Last I looked Discount Tire had the Nittos available in 3-5 days; cheaper options if you are just looking for the short term use on a ski trip.

Hi!
I have a little dilemma about tire fitment for my x5. Due to a shortage of 22" winter tires i was 'forced' to order alternatives. OEM size is: 275/35 R22 & 315/30 R22. So for the front i bought 265/35 R22 and for rear 315/35 R22. They hasn't been tried on yet. And i am hesitating should I try them on or just send it back to the shop. Could you advice me about this setup? Does anyone have a similar experience? Thanks in advance,
Jakub

I would not run that combo. The tire height is 92mm in the front and 110mm in the rear. That's 18mm difference or 20%. I think (not 100% sure) this will throw the xdrive system for a loop. Unless you can program each size into the idrive system. Otherwise front and rear tires will be rotating at significantly different speeds when driving and the transmission/computer will be continually trying to correct for wheel spin.
