Interior trim vinyl wrap
Getting my first X5 in about a month but I didn’t go M50i. The 40i doesn’t offer carbon fiber trim as an option and I definitely wanted this so I was thinking about vinyl wrapping the interior trim. The best place around me said that they wouldn’t remove the wood trim and I would need to have the dealer take the trim off and then bring it to them to have it wrapped. Does anyone have experience doing this? Is this common or should I look for another shop to do the job? Thanks!!!

I just wrapped the trim on my Audi RS5
It comes with glossy carbon fiber trim, which reflects every single interior light and distracts me at night Wrapped it in CF vinyl that's matte Looks a lot better But pain in the ass to wrap If you're wrapping flat surfaces, it's super easy But when you get to curved edges etc, vinyl tends to have creases You have to make several small cuts to the vinyl isn't scrunched up I bought a set of used trim and wrapped that Which made it easier

A vinyl wrap will not since it's not very adhesive
