I bought a set of 741M wheels that already have the TPMS installed. When I put the wheels on the X5, do I need to do anything or will it automatically pick up the new sensors?

I believe they are self-learning? I don't think you will need to do anything.

All you need to do is reset tire pressure and you are done

Whenever you move or change wheels, you need to tell the vehicle to reset. It will take a few miles for it to figure out what you have and where they are.
