EsysX alternative?
I don't own a PC, the EsysX version with dongle is over $300, i can't justify that when i already own ISTA and run it fine on a VM without issue.
I'm not sure if LP is still even an option? I just hear about all the people that never get a response back after months from Tokenmaster. I'm really just after getting anti-dazzle enabled, i can do most everything else i want with Bimmercode. I don't really want to pay someone, as if the dealer updates everything, i assume it'll needed to be coded again. Thanks in advance. |

just use esys and VO code it.
Might not give you the full anti-dazzle experience though. Otherwise no - your only option is esysx. They are the only supplier that will map coding to the latest i-step across all ECU. Assume when you say no PC you mean you have a mac? You could use esysx with bootcamp, but personally I'd fork out the difference for the dongle. It's $300 against a $50-100k car? |

Ok, thanks, maybe I'll have to buy a cheap tablet to run it on windows. Cheaper than paying for a dongle maybe.
Do you know the system requirements? I didn't see anything on the esysx website. |

system requirements - if it runs W10 it'll most likely work for esysx. |

It's just windows on mac hardware. It'll work fine without a dongle. Just be aware that if the hardware changes you cant transfer the licence. Not sure if the software would complain if you were to repartition it for example. I'm sure esysx support would help out in that scenario. It's just the brand new device licence transfer they have issue with, and thats when the dongle comes in handy

Sounds good, i found an old windows laptop i used to use and looks like i already have esys on there, must have been messing with awhile ago. I'm copying over my psdzdata from ITSA right now and will try hooking it up the car later.
Gotta go find the anti-dazzle coding now... search time |

macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 on my Macbook Pro15 (2017). Naturally with a complete repartitioning of the drive to install Bootcamp for Windows 10 (19042.906) Once again, EsysX installed without any problems and picked up the old license (Windows disk size was resized via a complete partition wipe). So no need to worry ). |
