Are you saying that's the price on IND? Are you referring to the prices that you mentioned as per piece or a set of 2? IND is at $395 + shipping -
The fact that they charge shipping for such a high priced item in this day and age is unfathomable but that's another topic for another day!
I ordered from my dealer OEM for 340 eur by set. No shipping...

So that sounds about the same as $395 for the set that IND is selling. Thanks and ordering it via IND now!

Since I have already said that is my plan twice already now I'm not sure why you found your post necessary especially the first sentence. If you want to call me a name, go ahead dude, whatever....
Literally not aimed at you but OP who has posted other threads retrofitting other X5M parts onto an X5.

Just happened to post directly under you without scrolling through thread to see that you have them, relax "dude"

Removal of the original vent did they have clips to press in or was it tape? And the X5M vent installation was it clipped in or taped?

Just received the vents from China. Looking to replace the X5M labels on the vents with black colour. Does anyone have any links from where I can buy them?

Nice. I would be happy to just remove the X5M without replacing it. Let me know what it looks like under the logo when you remove it. Share a pic if you can.

atlas,

I think you should double check the ebay listing without the "logo". The description says,

"Include : Gloss Black Side Fender Air Wing Vent Tirm + X5M"

I think the "X5M" in the description is the logo... Also, if you look at the pictures very carefully, you can see that they've digitally covered the logo (I think).

I'm not 100% sure but I think you should ask the seller to double check. And do let us know, would like to get one myself eventually.

Thank you.

VetteZ06,

I think lot of people appreciate your pictures, they are great.

Do you plan on removing the X5M logo? If so, how does it look and do you plan on getting a replacement label? If so, where?

I'm looking at replacing the labels with a black M with stripes. Still looking if you find anything let us know. I was also thinking of making my own but if nothing comes up I will leave them as-is for now.

So the seller messaged back and it does indeed have the X5M logo on it. No big deal - worst case you could always cut a piece of vinyl to size?

Removal of the vent from the vehicle - how do you get at the clips without damaging anything? Is it a matter of sliding a thin enough object in at each clip location and pushing to unclip each one at a time?
