Hey Guys,

I have a 2021 X5 sDrive 40i (xline, Arctic Grey). When I purchased it, the car in the Instrument Cluster and Navigation screen was Jatoba Brown however I know it should match the color of my car. I went in and coded the proper color and changed the vehicle from xLine to Msport. I also changed the cluster to M Font from standard and that allowed me to add the M logo and other logos that are ordinary unavailable with stock cluster. Before and after photos are below with coding instructions. Enjoy. Also tested this on my 2020 5 Series and was successful.

M Font and Logo

-DKombi4
-Expert Mode
-3001 KI_Parameter
-AG_MPA_MSP_VIEW

MPA_ANSICHT_260_SKALA (160 MPH Speedo, M Font)
MPA_ANSICHT_330_SKALA (200 MPH Speedo, M Font)
MPA_ANSICHT (160 MPH SPeedo, Non M Font, Able to add ///M Badge)

LOGO

3001 KI_PARAMETER
LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG
MSP_LOGO

CAR COLOR AND TRIM

HU_MGU
EXPERT MODE
3000 HMI_SPEECH
TRIM_LINE
MSPORTPAKET

3000 HMI_SPEECH
VEHICLE_COLOUR

The TACH side of your cluster looks completely different than mine. Is that how your car came stock or did you change it via coding? My TACH goes zero to 7 and takes up the entire right portion of the cluster.

This is great, I like the M gauge setup but miss that is doesn't show drive mode etc, but M font on standard gauges is a nice compromise!

It came that way. Mostly all 2021 "40i" models come with a power gauge due to the fact it uses a 48v hybrid system. You can change it in the display settings to display a tachometer instead.

I assume there is no way to code in the wheels? I am picking up a set of 758i's that I'd love to have show up onscreen.

From what I see, no. It gives you a list of different versions. xline, sport line, luxury line, v12 excellence etc. The versions are preloaded to each picture.

Tried it and works well. Anyone know how to switch the font on the HUD to match the M font?

Like the mix of fonts and original dash layouts.

How did you achieve this?

Was it a Bimmercode level of change or do you need the more complex coding platforms to do this?

Cheers

I have also being experimenting with the TRIM_LINE & VEHICLE_COLOUR in Esys since I got my G05 X5 late last year trying to get the rims to match what is actually on the car with no luck.

Note if you can access X_VIEW option in Bimmercode expert mode. You may want to activate this as on S Drive models it is turned off by default. May come in handy if you are ever towing a caravan or boat up a mountain pass

Hi , sorry I don’t understand... i have the tachometer in the 1’ image..
if I want add only M badge under the camera (leaving 160mph) isn’t possibile?
I need to change to 200 mph scale?

I would leave the scale and the font.. (for me, is very horrible Msport font)
