Accessing Rear Battery

How do I access the rear battery so I can disconnect it in order to install the shifter?
I don't want to break anything.
Any pictures of rear battery location and what to do in order to gain access is requested.
Thanks.

Open liftgate. Open cargo door. The panel that retains the tow hook has about 8 plastic fasteners that you can remove and then lift out the panel.
Battery is then accessible.
