New i-step: 03/2021.525
I've upgraded my G05 to 03/2021.525 and have noticed......... nothing!
aSLA bug where the car suddenly thinks its in an 80/100mph zone is still there. Very dangerous, and I think is probably the nav data as there are no signs saying 80mph! More disappointing is a lack of new features listed in coding for MY22. Hopefully they are holding them back, but I'm thinking that dev resource may now be committed to the iNext/iX. Anyone on 03/2021 notice anything new? Alexa is working really well, but that's not new to 03/2021 specifically. Edit: TLA is much improved with this software release Last edited by ifr; 03-06-2021 at 05:36 AM.. Reason: Improvements to TLA |

I haven't tried it yet.
Let's update it and compare it to 20-11-564. I think the update contents are different for each country and year in which the vehicle is sold.

The coding, defined in FA, then determines how the car is configured by Region type, model, country and model year. I try and view the coding holistically i.e. for the G05, independent of MY and Region, so I can see what's available for all MY and regions. |

Interesting on the ID8. The coding is there for the G05 (July 2022) which I expect they are using for testing an LCI. I have mixed feelings about the iX. While the autonomous driving will be up a level, online secure token requirement could put stop to coding, limiting regional feature unlock. I like that my G05 has every feature that is available to the model globally, and some that are not. Plus we currently have the ability to retrofit new MY features where supported in hardware, when BMW don't bother to rollout to earlier MY. Being able to custom config the car is a real tangible benefit for a BMW and if that's off the table moving forward, then the iX is going to need to deliver a LOT for us in the UK out of the box. |

It works with the idrive navigation, so you can ask for opening hours at Costco and it'll bring up the nearest and offer nav option. Has the usual weather etc, but uses its own graphical system, which is better than BMW weather widget. Integrates with amazon music. Not tested much else other than random nonsense asked by the kids. I did ask it to play music on our home echo but not sure if it worked or not as it was an attempt to mess with the missus but she wasn't in I doubt it will work with Ring, Guard etc but haven't had chance to try yet. Same for Smart home devices. Will update here. Edit: tested and it does play music on other non-car related devices like home echo. Last edited by ifr; 03-05-2021 at 09:28 AM.. Reason: update |

Quick update
TLA is much much improved with this release. It's acknowledging and stopping for lights almost as quickly as I can visualise them now, even on blind bends. Big improvement! |

Thanks for quickly reply
I need only to take 220v (I’m in Italy), connect to the battery and power on? Or I need to program something on this voltage regulator? Thanks |
