BIMMERPOST poll for X5 owners! Please give us your input.
Question for our G05 X5 owners and enthusiasts!
Now that this G05 X5 forum has seen its activity hit new levels, would you prefer that we maintain the current setup of one single forum section for all G05 X5 discussions, or would you prefer if we created some additional sections for specific topics (i.e. Pricing/Ordering, Wheels/Tires, iDrive/Electronics, etc.)? This would provide the advantage of more organization, easier search, and easier to follow certain types of topics. See our G30 5 Series forum for an example of how this would be organized: https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/index.php Please vote in the poll above, and thanks for your input! Jason

Yeah, the G05 seems to have hit a popularity level, where the posts have exploded. Break it up, to make sections manageable, instead of a ton of posts in just one forum.

How about a sticky threads for production week, tracking cause early on every thread was like Macrumors iPhone launch.

The vehicle is too complicated to not have specific sections to address just those areas. IDrive alone could have its own divided section of topics. There should always be a “general” section for new owners to ask broad questions. “Sticky threads” are a must for information purposes like resetting the iDrive, etc... I have answered the same question 20 times by now.
