New delivery of M4 coupe SO w/ GB and ZCP

Last night I took delivery of my M4 coupe. Order was placed last February. I had originally planned PCD for late June but due to some other recent events caused a scheduling conflict. On the positive side, I get to enjoy the car one month ahead of the original schedule.

I only drove it from the dealership to home (which is roughly 25 miles). With sunny weather forecasted for tomorrow and Thursday coupled with vacation time, I'll have more time behind the wheel.

Initial impressions, I love the MT. I had the DCT in my 2013 M3 coupe. Great transmission and I could make a case for either type. Though I wanted something completely different from my DD. For the color combination, I took a chance as I didn't see either in real life. My only exposure was from pictures posted on this forum. While I haven't seen it in all lighting conditions, so far I am satisfied. As for the ZCP, the rims look much better in-person and go well with this car. The exhaust sounds good to me. Good enough that for the moment, I cannot justify spending $5k (or so) on an upgrade. Ride quality is good considering the 20" rims with a short sidewall.

Congrats, looking forward to more pictures! I haven't had a chance to see many SO M4's with ZCP. Can't tell if I like that interior color with SO, its definitely different!

That interior! Do you have any more shots of it? Any regrets not going full GB (XT1)?

Really love this color interior, but have reservations about ordering it in full as I'm not too keen on how they color the entire lower dash.

I have SO/SO full leather in my M4. I love it!! You'll love yours!!

For the interior color the safe choice would've been black. However, most of my previous vehicles have been that color. My last BMW had Ivory (with EBII exterior). So I wanted something different. Different combo to be sure but it works for me. Sitting in the car, most of what I can see is black. If I had gone full leather, perhaps my opinion would be different. GB would be a nice compliment with a primary exterior color such as black or white.

I'll post more pictures later today. Work has been busy and I haven't had much time on the forum. In-terms of full vs. extended, I wanted to keep the MSRP below $80k. Getting full would've pushed it above my price setpoint. No doubt full does add a touch of luxury.

Strange coincidence with the number of SO's on the vessel. Thank you for the kind words. Though I'm not looking forward to cleaning those rims.

Thank you all for the compliments on the car and color combo. If I didn't put a self-imposed budget limit to $80k, I would've gone with SMB and Amaro Brown. Overall I'm happy with my selection. Now to start the mods (with coding first).

Finally someone tries SO on GB! I myself chickened out and went with the less orange SO on AB combination. But I'm still at status 112 so could change to GB... And I love GB (got to see it IRL) so all this is to say: please share a ton of pics of the color combo, it would really help me make a final decision.
