There seems to be several versions of these lights. Yours doesn't say anything on the side does it? How about Boneca's?

The set I got from Bayoptiks does NOT work.

I only installed the driver side outer main light and had fitment issues right where the 3rd bolt goes. The light would stick out 5mm on top no matter what i did. Then i tried to fire up the lights and they seem to be wired to work for euro X5 because the turn signal only the lower half blinked, not the top together like boneca's. The middle yellow portion didn't light up at all. Ugh... Now i have to deal with getting a refund and sending it back.

I would play safe and just order from the two links posted on this thread. Both vendors seem to be successful with fitment and functionality for American and Canadian standards. There are a lot of versions. Mine don’t say anything on the body mounted tails.

As promised. Here it is. I suggest taking the right side cover to get access to the passenger side body tail light. So much easier. Total install time 1 1/2

I just ordered the same set that Boneca posted. I tried the set from Bayoptiks again and they just don't work. When you step on the brakes only the lower half of the light turns on. There is also major fitment issue where the driver side outer light sticks out 5+mm from the body no matter how tight you crank the bolt. Complete waist of my time.

Apparently in order to get the yellow turn signals to work we would need to run new wires to the lights from the BDC module and probably do some coding.

Hello, I ordered from aliexpress, i'm located in europe, the taillights come with some addional wireing that I have no idea where they fit, using the OEM wire to plug into the lci taillight simple doesn't work, I ordered using VIN but I have a feeling they are not compatible.
They came with no instructions, any help could be appreciated.

I already replied to u comment on YouTube, there shouldn’t be any additional wires, it’s plug and play, check that you have ordered correct taillights

don’t play with these wires, they definitely sent you wrong version, get in touch with the seller and get it replaced or refunded

p.s. I don’t think you would need additional wires just for Euro version cars if anything it had to be coded inside (or at least I think so)
