CarPlay Randomly Disconnects after updating to iOS 16.4
Hi there.
Is anyone facing similar issue? Trying to find out if this is isolated just to my car. Before the update it was pretty stable. Thanks |

I’ve had one or two disconnects in the last day or two can’t lie. Haven’t tried resetting settings but if it gets to the point where it’s a real problem that will be my next step.

Thanks for the info I was getting ready to update my phone to the new software but the last update on the Toyota tundra different vehicle crashes every day and won’t come back on so I’ve turned off future updates and of fear of this on the X5

Okay folks - I've realised it happens i a specific location only, when I drive near the point where 4G drops down to 3G (poor signal). However before the iOS 16.4 it was not happening as I drive that way daily. I can see it's not isolated issue with BMW only. Some users suggest radio interference that affects Bluetooth or WiFi. I've installed iOS 16.4.1 last night let's see if the problem exist.

Same here actually, had a few disconnects since 16.4. iPhone 14 Pro Max, 2023 X5 M50i.
