2022 x5 driver profiles

I'm confused on the driver profiles - what all settings/preferences automatically change with the driver profile?

I would assume the seat and mirror settings would, but they don't seem to in my 22 x5. my wife and I use separate keys with separate driver profile associated with each key, and I can't figure out when and how to make standard settings like seat and mirrors automatically update when each respective person enters the car as the driver.

I still find that we can’t get it to work reliably, especially when we are both traveling together and have our keys. If I’m driving, but she approaches the car first from the passenger side the doors unlock and it sets her driver profile.

when either you or she is recognized as the active profile, do the seats & mirrors adjust to your prior setting?

along the same lines, do the "1" and "2" seat programs on the driver door function separately from the driver profiles? I'm having hard time figuring this out too.

I think you need to click the unlock button on your key to active and move to that driver profile. All my wife does is hit unlock button and the seats etc.. adjust to what my wife has set. I hit unlock and it moves to my settings. I usually do this walking to the car so it's ready when I jump in.

Not sure this is 100% accurate but it seems to work.

PS: we do the same on my wife's X1

If you have comfort access set then you don't need to manually hit the unlock, when opening the door the seats and mirrors will adjust.

No, each profile will have two settings.
