They don't roll down so I can't check those unless there's a specific glass code you know. The car is very quiet as is for the record.

No, I don't know the code but I did specifically go back and forth the with the Genius as to which windows were and were not acoustic. Only 1-4 in the pic I posted are in the optional acoustic glass pkg. When I informed them that the price had increased for 2020 from $300 to $600 and wanted to know if additional panes were then going to be acoustic, they came back and said they could not speculate on future releases.

Makes sense to verify with known numbers. The Genius could not answer my questions and twice had to delay their replies while they checked with someone else, took four days just to get the answer on the glass! I would hate to have a job with that title even if I did know a lot

Has anyone actually placed an order for the M50i and gotten a confirmed production date from BMW yet? Seems that dealers are now taking orders but BMW hasn't released any allocations yet (at least that is what my dealer is saying).
When in August does the Spartanburg plant actually start production of the '20 models? |

If you're holding out, 10% off should be the number. Don't let dealers tell you this is a special car. It is not. Remind them loud and often that it is just a V8 X5, and it is not a limited production vehicle like a true M car. Absolutely, positively, nothing whatsoever is special about the M50i to warrant pricing more than 10% off MSRP.

Can you tell me what you mean by the lack of the 21" tires. I know they are available from the big tire retailers at least they are now & I presume they will be for a long time to come.

There are 6 options for factory width 315/35 111Y tires, that's all. None of them are good, you get a choice of P Zero (RFT and non-RFF) Corsas (not for daily driving), Scorpion Verde (garbage tires), Bridgestone Alenza RFTs and one other. No Michelin tires available. If you go smaller in the front/rear then there are a few more options but good luck. Check Tirerack.com

I heard about the M50i through a SA last month just as I was finalising an order for a 40i M Sport. I have a M50i on order now in the UK:
Carbon Black Individual Ivory Extended Visibility, Technology & Comfort Plus packs Luggage separating net Individual extended high gloss exterior Sun protection glass Panoramic roof Leather instrument Panel Travel & comfort system Driving assistant professional 2 axle air suspension + Integral steering I'm split between: Interior trim - Tetragon or Mesheffect Wheels - 747M or 742M Suspension - I want DHP / M adaptive professional, but optioned 2 axle air for comfort because I could not ascertain whether DHP could make the car more comfortable than the standard set up I think I should add acoustic glass. |

I am ordering with Air Susp and Integral Steering...Does anyone know what is included with extended shadow line package? I am debating 21" and 22" rims/tires. (leaning to 22") also leaning to bowers wilkens but don't want all the exec pack like soft close doors, or heated cup holders... First world decions

I ordered the extended shadow line package (M50i).
It is the front grill and trim pieces, the side air vent, and the exhaust tips. The cerium gray side mirrors are also changed (back to car color). Side mirrors is not mentioned in the description but shown in the configurator pics: |
