Given your proximity to Spartanburg you should really consider doing PCD. This way you can search nationwide for a deal and pick it up there.

Just asking, if one decides to do PCD pick-up how would someone get there from Charlotte airport?

Is a two person job?

A flight would be fairly expensive. You can rent a car, drive to the airport and then the shuttle can pick you up from there. They have bus routes but don't know where the drop off is.

I just looked for PCD at bmw website. It explains very well.

There are Marriott shuttles from Greenville airport and to Bmw center.

Yes there are but you said you are flying into Charlotte (for whatever reason). You need to get from there to the Greenville airport.

Yes, I said Charlotte because I didn’t know there are direct flights from Chicago O’hare to Greenville SC

I might consider doing PCD pick-up myself

We drove a rental to the Greenville airport and the Marriott sent an X7 to pick us up. The next morning they took all of us in a van to the PC for the driving activity and delivery.

They choose the date and if you can't make it then there are some alternatives that they give you to choose.

Yes, they gave us a few options over a couple of weeks once the production starts.
