Dealer with a build allocation? (45e Request)

Order Placed: 10/29
Production #: 12/23 for Week 6 build

Build started a few days early. Vehicle delivered to BMW of Dallas 2/12. We picked it up today, 2/14.

My salesman is our neighbor and our boys are great friends. He takes great care of us.

Are you still looking for a dealership to place an order for 45e? I can check with my CA if he has one. You check with him if they are ok withh a pickup in SC. Let me know.

I just got the last PCD date in March about an hour ago. They said it is extremely popular and the slots fill fast. Mine just started the production process, no VIN yet.

Got a call late last night from the dealer I was working with that they had a car being built today that was almost identical to my desired build, pick up next week!

Thanks a lot for the offer, glad to finally be ending this car hunting journey.

Manhattan Green
Shadowline trim
Cognac interior (wanted Tartufo, but close enough)
Executive package
Driver's assistance
Parking assistance
Climate package (wanted just two of the three, but take the full)
Blue brake calibers

Congratz! They Luckily they were pretty flexible with us, as they usually require you to pick it up within 2 weeks of it being available, and allowed us to book about 3 weeks out.

I see some dealers have the 45e in stock. Not sure if people are backing out of orders because the value of their trade ins has gone down or if dealers are not able to pre sell all of their slots, but before committing to 2-3 month wait i would check what is available in inventory.

Many dealers list their in-transit/sold inventory as being in stock as a way to draw people in. Not always the case but many times it is.

Yup I was able to purchase a 2022 X5 45e due to person that ordered the vehicle not wanting the vehicle after all.
