AWE or Eisenmann ?
Finally ready to pull trigger on the exhaust. can't afford MPE or Akra, bit out of my range and I find AWE or Eisenmann came down to perfect choice but cant decide which.
Any suggestions ? : |

Not to question your finances but how could $2000 be out of your price range when you own a $70K+ car? Why not save a bit more and get what your really want?

I am waiting for the BMS exhaust. You lose the valve function, but mine is always open anyways. Should be around 2k

lol true, but just don't seem it's really worth spending thousand on muffler.. except for the sound with slight hp gain which would be hardly noticeable IMP.. perhaps my mind would change but seems AWE / Eisenmann seem to have best bang for the bucks if Im not wrong.

What's pictured is thus far still prototype version. Final product may be different. It's still quad tips. As long as they're black, that's fine with me. The carbon tips would be cool, looks wise, but primary concern with me is on-throttle sound, no drone, and lighter weight.

If you check out the thread in the exhaust subsection, they say that drone is minimal/none existent.

Ive heard both. I personally have the Eisenmann. I love it and it sounds good. its paired with their downpipes. When i ran the full systems (midpipes) it was a little too loud and raspy.
i heard the AWE rear section only, and it sounded very good. honestly, if you are only going to do the rear section, i dont think you will be disappointed with either one. good luck! |

thanks for the info. I doubt I'll be in the market for downpipe.. regardless of how much of difference it make, it's too much of trouble install and re-install every two year or so for the emission

Akrapovic gets my vote, but if you have limited yoiur choices down to AWE or Eisenmann, get the Eisenmann system.

If you don't have an aftermarket diffuser, I feel like I should point out Eisenmann sits down lower away from the stock diffuser.
Seeing it in person bugged the hell out of me. Eisenmann sounds wonderful though so.

Either way you go make sure you try and listen to both. It's the best way of knowing and it's still 3,500 if you've already listened and are torn - my experience with the AWE has been pretty darn awesome.
