I noticed after the 03/2021.50 update, when starting the car or press the seat memory button, the steering column does not automatically adjust to the memory setting anymore. Seats are working properly though.

Tried shutting off the engine to restart the car, as well as rebooting iDrive, but still no luck. Any idea?

The steering column is a known issue that requires a complete replacement. Symptoms include buzzing/whirring sound upon extraction and retraction and/or not moving at all or only partial movement.

It could just be a coincidence this started happening with the software update. My bet is that you have a faulty steering column.

It is working though. It can still extract or retract if I do it manually. It's just that the steering column does not adjust automatically after I press seat memory 1 or seat memory 2 buttons.
