I’ve read almost every thread here and ordered 3 G05’s. Obviously, I hate to hear about our owners having problems from noises, to technical glitches. After about 30 miles, I can say a few things:

Noise- I have 20” 740M wheels on the Bridgestone Alenza run flats and it is dead quiet at 10mph and 90mph. No strange noises, smooth and quiet. Just like my last two.

Idrive 8.5 - No weird iDrive 8.5 issues - maps, CarPlay, etc. Everything works just as intended, Spotify loaded right up. Alexa works as well.

IAS is a game changer- the feel around the corners, the tracking the minute you even think to turn the wheel, it’s night and day, and very happy to have it.

It’s also very clear about the engine reduced power mode as it tells you every time it starts up for the next 310 miles, and I am perfectly fine with that! Glad they do this!

I will post more pictures once all the black emblems and black wheels are done

Appreciate all the help from this Forum to get me to this point. Took mine at PCD today. Nice delivery experience but they closed the Factory to tours today

On the way back home we have had to pull over and hard boot the 8.5 system twice. Looks like X5 is off to the dealer when I get home to Pittsburgh.

They would not say. Might be that they were running some new models we should not see yet or plant was being restarted after the Labor Day holiday. Lots of disappointed people yesterday as I listened to several conversations at lunch.

From another thread there was some big (apparently nationwide) sales meeting this week. I know my local dealer had people out of town for *something* and they aren't scheduled to return until tomorrow morning.

Probably why I can't pick up my vehicle until tomorrow, *grumble*, *grumble*, *whine*.

where in westcoast are you at?
mine just got to QC (week 36) to be delivered to Orange County.
I'm looking at other weeks to gauge my delivery time

West Coast has been around 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.

3 weeks and 4 days from production day to arrival at dealer. PNW

Labor Day fell over that time too and there was a 3 day delay getting loaded from train to truck on the final hop to dealer

50e, Got it a couple of days ago as well. It was sitting at the dealer since late August while waiting for the knee airbag replacement. It's been a blast to drive.
