Well…turns out STEK discovered a quality issue with their chrome films and notified my detailer just in time. I guess this one will have to wait. Going matte black instead which will still look great, just not as unique. Pics to come.

Jeeez what a kick in the dick! Glad you did not get screwed in the ass as well. I do think black is great when it is clean, but my God is it hard to keep that way. Satin may be easier to clean than matte. But there is way better weather in Cali than on the northeast.

I was so bummed!!! They didn’t have any issues on the cars they tested on. But it looks like a few in the wild had minor defects so they need to make some changes. From what I understand the chrome PPF films are a first - and you have to be very careful not to over stretch otherwise the film can turn white.

Oh well. It won’t be quite as bold but maybe that’s ok. Their matte black PPF is really good.

Cheers as always brother.

Sterckenn Front Splitter

Secondary cat delete
MSS lowering springs

My thought here is just a big more aggressive stance with the color. It is BOLD, but not an obnoxious color.
How does the streckenn front splitter and RW carbon sides look together, does the carbon pattern match ?

It’s VERY close yes. The same 2x2 weave. Since they are not right next to each other, you will never notice even the very subtle difference between them. Same goes for the Akra rear diffuser.

Install is in progress! Car tear down was yesterday, and the STEK matte black PPF install started today.

More progress pics. I'll be writing a much longer complete blog with all the things that have been done to my F95. I'm super happy with how this is going! They had to order a bit more film and will finish roof and rear bumper tomorrow. Ceramic on top and then putting the front splitter back.

They did not. They can but to do it right, you really need a body shop to remove the doors.

By the way, I know it serves a purpose (prob getting small air pockets out from under the vinyl, but the guy walking around with a needle behind his ear is hilarious!

Haha! That’s Hugo - he is their lead installer and absolutely insane at what he does. His attention to detail is something else for sure.

These guys have a lot of fun doing what they do. Check out some of their YouTube videos and you’ll definitely smile a few times
