Garage List
also still on 07/2021. I'm requesting a software upgrade when I bring it in for service this December citing vehicle performance issues

Unless there's a safety defect or significant bug, the current G05 may not get any more OTA updates. If you have to get some module replaced, that may contain something that would force the dealer to update the vehicle, otherwise, it may stay at the current value. I hope they continue to update things, but that may not happen.

BMW has pretty much cast iD7 aside like an old shoe. They will have their hands full with all the iD8 problems that will be surfacing. Until they award the contract to a software development firm that knows what they are doing, BMW's system will always be a mess.

I have 07/2022 and have not noticed any differences from 11/2021 that I had prior.

True thing! It’s enough to see what release notes say. And given LCI G05 (and other models) are getting ID8, keeping ID7 is not something they are interested in anymore

I think ID7 is fairly stable now. I got 11/2021.55 back in May this year via OTA, and I dont have any issues, bugs or anything I need to complain about, at least for all the features I use.

Any updates they make to ID7 will likely be small/minor improvements from here, and lets hope they dont break anything making those "enhancements".

I have 07/2022.33 on my G21 (by dealer) and I lost TLA and UCC functions which I had previously successfully enabled

it seems that BMW has eliminated some parameters expected up to firmware 03/2022

I hope I'm wrong and that they just masked these parameters

On the bmw.co.uk site for G31 and G05 models TLA function is available on driving assistant professional

Wait! What?! My month-old '23 45e (USA) has 07/2022.33 with DAP pkg, but I NEVER saw the options for Traffic Light Assistance (TLA) and UCC (Urban Cruise Control) in any settings

Can anyone with a MY 21 or MY 22 45e confirm if they have these?

Pretty sure that is region specific and released in the UK. You can enable it like the OP did with tools like BimmerUtility and E-Sys.

As mentioned it is regional and not available in the US other than coding it in.

This has been for ages, but blocked for majority of countries. The name of this feature is aSLA. You can code it with esys
