X5 wiper wipes for no reason??

My front wiper just randomly starts for no reason, its not on auto, its not rainning.
How can I fix it? Its really annoying as it happens frequently...

Make sure the wiper lever is in neutral position. If it's in "intermittent" mode it'll do what you describe.

Yea I know what you mean, but the wipers are perfectly in neutral position all the time, I paid attention this afternoon, when I turn on the right turn signal the wipers will start, not every time but most time I turn right the wipers start to wipe, its really weird and annoying, initially I thought I accidently touched the wiper switch, but it turned out I didnt.

Since its really happenning randomly, i dont think they can notice it if I drive to the service.

We have had a few others report the same thing happening. I think one person's dealer replaced a switch but others there have been no solution.

Thank you very much, I will go to the service to give it a try. Hopefully they can find the error and fix it. Looks like it is not a rare problem..
