03/2021 update got rid of my remote start

Hi, I have a 2020 M50i, and i just completed the upgrade. For one thing it got rid of all my coding which is fine, but now i've found out that when i hit lock 3 times it doesn't remote start anymore.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this?

This usually happens after a software upgrade. You need to make sure the setting for preconditioning/climatization is checked again in your settings.

Press "Menu" where A/C button is, center console, then "Preconditioning/ventilation", then "remote engine start"

Just had the same update done on my vehicle too. Had to manually go back in and activate the feature again.

Just had the same update done on my vehicle too. Had to manually go back in and activate the feature again.

You'll have to manually re-enable after each OTA update.
