03/2021.50 and ADV
Received 03/2021.50 OTA today, upgrade was seamless - no issues.
As usual, lost all my coding changes (no big deal, I just go back in using Bimmercode and apply all my changes), but I noticed this time that Advanced Driving View (ADV) did not need to be re-coded. I have a 2019 build G05, and in every SW upgrade to-date I've always lost my coding changes including ADV. Is ADV now standard in all G05 builds? (assuming you have the right hardware to support it) |

many folks who've recently updated to 03/2021 have reported it altered their coding little to none.

Alternatively if you did not have acess to Esysx could you just temporarily change the build date in the FA to 03/21and VO code only the Kombi ECU to display the ADV and the auto HUD display seen in some MY21 models?

Yep, thats what I do for that ECU. Relatively low risk, but it's useful to have ISTA to check that the changes don't trigger any 'hidden' errors due to later MY hardware changes.
