03/2023.30 update done

I recently was updated to 03/2023.30 update.

Are we supposed to notice any changes?
I googled the update, hoping to find some news, but was unable to come up with anything.

Thanks Weinerbarn

Doesn’t seem like there is much point in doing the updates on the “older x5’s”

Mine is a 2020

Nope and even for the newer LCI vehicles you have to be careful as the last couple of updates have enabled secure coding which means you can't do E-Sys/Bimmercode type stuff anymore. Any coding changes have to be authorized by the BMW backend servers. Seems they are only focused on secure coding for LCI and EV right now but of course that could change.

About to install this today. Aside from not being able to code ASS memory.

Are there any other changes/improvements/bugs people noticed yet?

I had read the same, not very informative release notes from BMW. Was wondering if people noticed anything via observation 😝

Not sure if placebo, but lane keep seems to be better for me on highway.

BMW notoriously avoids listing all of the bug fixes and tends to only list things more generically. The dealers tend to have a list of what 'bugs' a certain s/w version fixes which gives them the authorization to perform an update if you complain. Otherwise, they often won't just on general principles. There are often lots of subtle tweaks.
