03/2023.30 update done
I recently was updated to 03/2023.30 update.
Are we supposed to notice any changes? I googled the update, hoping to find some news, but was unable to come up with anything. |

Nope and even for the newer LCI vehicles you have to be careful as the last couple of updates have enabled secure coding which means you can't do E-Sys/Bimmercode type stuff anymore. Any coding changes have to be authorized by the BMW backend servers. Seems they are only focused on secure coding for LCI and EV right now but of course that could change.

BMW notoriously avoids listing all of the bug fixes and tends to only list things more generically. The dealers tend to have a list of what 'bugs' a certain s/w version fixes which gives them the authorization to perform an update if you complain. Otherwise, they often won't just on general principles. There are often lots of subtle tweaks.
