The CarPlay issue is solved. I have my phone in English language. The car was in Dutch, as soon as I changed the car in English so the languages match, CarPlay worked immediately. If while connected I change 1 of the 2 in another language, CarPlay immediately disconnects.

Quite funny flaw in the system it seems :-)

Beautiful X5 ! Congrats.

Good to know I will have the same issue as my phone in English and car will set in French. You just spare me a lot of time when I will get mine in few days !

I bet that's not in the manual. Thanks for letting us know the issue and solution.

I reported the issue with Apple, maybe they do something with it. I guess for most people, it doesn't make sense to have different languages between their car and their phone.

Got some more interior photos to share, really love it. Did some driving this weekend. The car drives very smooth, the silence inside is something to get used to, almost can't hear any engine noice. (i haven't pushed it yet, i always behave gentle in the first 2k km of a new car)

Discovering the options is also nice, for example, i didn't know the heated seats also heat the mid console and the doors :-)

Tried out the driving assist a bit, it seems to work flawless but i still need to get a hang on how every setting works and how the car behaves in different situations.

So far the wait was totally worth it

I got these standard, I have no special option I believe where these would be different. Although it seems they match my interior very well so maybe if you have a brown or black interior you get different ones.

Got my winter setup placed today. Not sure about the look, I might consider powder coating to black when I change back to summer setup.

So far still no issues to report with the car, have 1100km on it.
Got an OTA update, went flawless. Gave it a first bath also, funny to have to use a small step-up for the roof now. Thanks to the coating, very easy to clean. Don't have the impression it gets dirty faster compared to my previous Melbourne red car.

Still getting a lot of positive remarks about the tanzanite blue.

The only, very silly, remark I have is about traffic lights. I have issues seeing the lights sometimes, I'm used to a lower seating position so I might have to learn to position my car properly at traffic lights.

You can lower the air suspension to the lowest position for that. Or stand on your rear wheel.

I like your winter look. But I have them for the summer. Personally I would keep them like this. Black coating makes it quite dark. But that's personal.

Nice car 👍

Went to check for this link but seems this doesn't work anymore. Anyone knows of a replacement to track cars on boats? :-) Got a 50e on the way that soon will get onto a ship
