Front plate options

Looking at options for mounting the front plate. Has anyone been successful that don't block the sensors.

Front License Plate Bracket https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1573572

This thread was helpful for me. Depending on your spec, I've had great luck with Cravenspeed's "m sport" kit on my "non m sport" 2019 X5.

A bit more on the SlyBracket that I've used (selected based on work in the post linked above this one) for 1.5 years now and going strong: https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=25788657

The Platypus License Plate Mount for 2019-2020 BMW X5 M-Sport
https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-plat...mw-x5-m-sport/

2021 x5mc with Driving Assistance Professional Package. Worked on mine without tripping sensors. Kind of scuffed pictures, threw it on with a random plate (don't have plates yet), drove around the block with nothing going off. Sensors seemed to work fine pulling back into garage.

X5MC and X5 M Sport fronts are pretty different. Glad it didn't block any sensors on X5MC, but on the X5 M Sport, I'd be concerned that it would come pretty close to at least partially blocking a parking sonar sensor on the left of it (looking from the front), particularly with the plate surrounded by a plate cover. I don't know if it's an issue for a fact or not, but looks pretty close based on your picture and my car's front.

On the X5MC, it doesn't block any air cooling paths, does it? Maybe not material in daily driving ...

Figured I'd give it a shot since it seemed to be one of the higher quality brackets. I'm personally not worried too much about cooling since:
A. I drive like a granny most of the time.
B. There are people mounting their plate in the center grill without issue.

One review said: Works great 2020 X5 xDrive40i with Driver Assistant Pro Package, does not throw off parking sensors.
It does come with parking sensor blinders so dunno, they have an easy return process so no harm giving it a shot imo.

I prefer the skenedesigns bracket personally. However, the bumper on the X6M has almost zero lip/overhang on the underside to mount. I don’t like when the plate is off to the side to me it just looks worse. I prefer dead middle so everything is symmetrical. To each their own.
