22 X5 mineral white with carbon bits!!

Hello gents, first time posting.
Picked up in October a mineral white s40, since then added a few carbon bits. Still planning on getting the carbon grille.
Let me know what you guys think. Better with the black grille or get the carbon to compliment the look?

Installed it myself, all OEM parts. Didn't want to risk having the clear coat on the carbon fiber flaking off like I've seen on some cars.

When I first read "carbon bits" I was expecting to see defects in the paint lol.

Looks nice! Out of curiosity, is there any actual purpose/function to the bits on the bumpers by the wheels? I always wondered when I first saw them.

I don't know how much research and engineering BMW really put into these parts but im almost positive that on the X5 its just for looks.
And that's the reason I bought them, my X5 will rarely, if ever, see speeds above 100mph to really need any aerodynamic help.
