Winter wheel/tire options for F95 X5M and F96 X6M?
I know it's early to start thinking about winter wheels and tires, but I started a thread for the F85/F86 five years ago, so I figured I would start one for the F95/F96.
I found this BMW OEM winter wheel and tire package: BMW 21" double-spoke style 808M orbit grey F: 36112471521 $2,197.64/set R: 36112471522 $2,529.42/set Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV 295/35R21 107V, rim size 10.5Jx21 Unfortunately these won't be available until the fall.

Or one of you can just purchase my winter setup f/s, assuming same hub size...

that is the individual price. The complete set of 4 will come out around August and is usually cheaper. I think list is around $4000 and my dealer will charge me around $3500.

Have you seen what the 21" G05 winter assembly commands?? I doubt the F95 will be cheaper.

As an aside, the only reason I have my current M50i winter setup for sale is bc I want my hands on the same assembly you have on your G05 (20" black 748M) but apparently they are backordered. BTW, are you able to rotate them on all four corners?

Can I use a G05 winter wheel on an F95? Or are there different offsets?

And yes they are not front or rear specific on non ///M cars. The F95 ones however are and can only be rotated side to side. Different offsets front and rear because all real ///M cars have staggered setups. Noushy

True, different offsets, but my F85 oem winter setup was able to work with F15 without an issue. The question is are the hubs the same size G05 and F95?

TireRack doesn't list anything available as of yet for the 21/22 set up. Does anyone have a source outside of the image above for winter tire pricing?

Is it possible to re-use a winter setup from F85 X5M on F95 X5M? I was using this set of wheels/tires on my 2018 X5M - "BMW 20" Style 611M Cold Weather Complete Wheel and Tire Set"
https://www.shopbmwusa.com/Product/6...L-AND-TIRE-SET BMW recommends a set of 808M 21" for F95 https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1...EEL---TIRE-SET If not possible, what's the real reason - different offset of 20" 611M or they just won't clear the calipers? |

I am fairly certain the 21" tires are wider on the F85 for both rear and front. It was one of the first things I noticed when the specs of the F95 debuted.

I paid $4500 for a set of OEM 21" wheels, winter tires, tpms and caps through the dealer for my F85. It was a brand new set they had on display in the parts department. Purchased it and they swapped them for free. Hopefully they'll be able to do the same or better for the F95.

One note is that the oem setup that BMW sells uses the Michelin alpin 5 snow tires and they are phenomenal. I had the same tires on my F80 M3 and they got me back home in the worst snow/ice storm i've ever encountered. They also drive extremely well in the dry too with great ride comfort.
