I am purchasing an X5M sight unseen and it is in MBBM. Can anyone on here tell me which blue it is the most similar too or a photo comparison? (Estoril, LBB, etc.)

To my eye it seems similar to Le Mans Blue (LMB)... Where would MBBM fit in the color scheme below?

I would say it’s very close to Lemans blue but with a little more pop. It’s like a mix of Lemans Blue and San Marino Blue. Its simply the best BMW blue in my opinion.

I agree with Alan. You won't be disappointed with MBB, the color is incredible!

To my eye, it’s virtually the same at SMB.

As a side note, my status now says “awaiting carrier assignment”. Should get it next week. Excited but nervous about all the A/C issues.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I went to three dealerships and none of them had a MBBM in stock but they did have the little plastic swatches that do not do any good in showcasing what it actually looks like a vehicle. Comparison:

Yeah you won’t be disappointed. MBB is such a beautiful color in person. San Marino has this almost chrome like pop to it under the sun with the green/silver flakes. MBB has some of that but less and with more blue tone. It’s the perfect combination imo.

Either way you’ll be fine. Most cars on the road are white, grey or black. You’ll stand out.

Thank you. I just wanted to have a better visual image and do not want to end up with something similar to LBB or MCB. Both are a bit too vibrant for my taste.

Nailed it! This is exactly what I was looking for. Something that really shows the difference or lack thereof. Thank you! I appreciate the help.
From what you saw does the Shadowline trim color clash with the blue or does it all flow and come together well?

The shadowline trim looks great with the MBB!

Here is the $140k question... Anyone on here regret this color? Since it is a daily driver... Did the novelty wear off?

I've only had my X5M for a few weeks, but I am in love with MBB.

MBB makes the F95 as far as I’m concerned. I switched from my original M50i order mostly because I wanted MBB color. I get so many looks with this car. I think if you want to be low key and incognito then maybe this color isn’t the best option. The F95 is a big car with a lot of mass so it stand out in a color like this.
