Wiper Blade Stuttering on a G05 X5

Hi folks, I have purchased a X5 in March 2020 and have had multiple electronic issues which parts have been replaced and hopefully they won’t reoccur. One issue which continues is the stuttering of the wiper blade which still continues after 2 sets of blades replacement.

Has any one experienced this. I have a Short video attached. I have told this is normal and there is no issue.

Unfortunately i am having trouble with video upload.

Mine had this issue so I replaced them with premium rainx wiper blades and now it’s all good.

Also are you using anything special to wipe down your windshield? I noticed some ceramic coatings will cause the blades to skip after initial application.

I never use the OEM wipers. I installed Bosch Envision and have not had any issues. I will swap to the Bosch SnowDriver once there is more than flurries in the forecast.

I’ve been happy with the RainX silicone Endura Premium wiper blades on mine. 20” and 26”. No skipping at all like the stock blades

My '19 doesn't shutter and actually works properly.

I did owned a car that did this and found this corrected it. Get a can of that spray foam window cleaner and quad ot steel wool. Spray the foam on heavy in about a two square foot area and lightly rub the steel wool over the window. You might have to do this a couple times. Do this over the entire front window. Then try the blades in the rain or with a garden hose wetting the window.

The window had something on it that I couldn't see and regular window cleaner didn't get off. It stop my past issue.
