3 months ago I took my X5 to the dealership to its first service. Once I got it back navigation wasn't loading correctly.

They supposedly talked to Germany to solve the problem but they cannot solve it.

Has anyone had the same problem or know how it could be solved?
I've suggested to reset to its factory settings or update the system but "there has not been any updates, yet" is what they say.
It's just the Nav system everything else is fine. It's annoying they can't solve the problem.

The worst part: I live in Mexico, so yes, service is awful in any brand.

My best friend has a US spec 2019 X5 4.0i, and lives in Germany.

European Nav worked when he bought it.

Brought it in for service, and they "upgraded" him to idrive7..... and then everything stopped working.

Over a year later, Military sales in stuttgart still tells him it's "impossible" to correct.

Meanwhile.... military sales in other locations (including the one I bought my X5 from) manage to get European maps loaded on my US spec BMW just fine.

It all depends on the dealership. Many of them are lazy, incompetent, or both.

They solved it! They just had a special engenieer solving this issues and the dude was just not there the last time due to COVID-19... But they fixed it in 20 minutes.
I at least expect just better service for a luxury brand.
