New to the forums so don't know if this is where I should post, but I recently purchased an X5 and have no idea where I can put a phone mount.

I tried the vent mounts but the phone blocks some of the screen and controls and it's inconvenient for me, so looking for alternatives

Please share what set up and mount you currently use , thanks!!!

i no longer use a mount, apple wireless carplay is outstanding. any texting or calls I defer until i'm not driving, it's never that important.

Did you install it after the fact? Would've loved this option but unfortunately the owner before me didn't add the CarPlay package when purchased it new. I'm in a 2017

Should probably look in the previous gen X5 forums. This is for the G05 series which is 2019+. Wireless carplay is a standard feature.
