Thoughts on 2 Wheel Choices for X5

I have the factory 21s currently.
Am looking for 22" wheels in gloss black.

Which one do you all think will look better.
Note: Despite the picture, each wheel will be in 100% gloss black.

Thanks.

The first wheels are forged with offset of 32mm front and 43mm rear.

I like better #2. The other look similar to the M comp.

The 1st are M completion replica.

Curious as to what people thin is a nicer looking wheel.
The M Comp. style wheel will be in all gloss black.

be careful with knock offs. The quality control is pretty rough - very obvious when you look at the inner barrel etc.. Also, consider if quality is an issue, good luck returning them without cost prohibitive fees.

You can get the second one in OEM for the same price as the aftermarkets (after you consider the high shipping charges from China - *******change offers them.

The 21” with glossy black would be ideal for me.

Both of these are 22" wheels.
The first ones would be provided in 100% gloss black color.

My current 21" split spoke wheels are not shown here.

Garage List
I would do the 2nd ones for the reason that I'd feel weird putting M wheels on a 40i. Not as bad as slapping an M badge on the back of your car, but same concept. To me it gives the impression I'm trying to represent something that it's not.

But that's just me. You do you. Both wheels look great. I think I also like the look of the 2nd ones a bit better.

2nd choice for me. I personally find the new X5M wheels unremarkable especially for a full “M car”.

Wops, thought the first picture was a 21”. I like the rim in the first picture but I prefer glossy black. This is what I meant.

Very Good Point.

I have the Black Sapphire Metallic and its an MSport variant.

I'm going for a totally "blacked out" aka "murdered out" look.

I welcome all opinions and thoughts.

My intention with this thread is just which wheel looks nicer in all gloss black on an X5.

Not on the specific model of X5. These are both BMW style wheels.

The specific model of X5 is irrelevant. Im not trying to changer the model of my X5, its on the rear badge.

Just looking at 22" BMW style wheels in all black.

I think #1 looks nicer with the M Sport look. IMHO. Although, as others have said, safety first and be careful with after market rim quality.

Is that Limerock gray? And can you order 22"s on the 45e from the factory? The US configurator doesn't seem to allow that.

Nope. They're gloss black

Yes they were ordered from the factory on my 45e. But 22" cannot be combined with the factory trailer hitch.

So if you have the trailer hitch in your config, you cannot take 22" rims
