Side mirrors won't tilt on reverse

When I shift into Reverse my side mirrors won't tilt down to see the curb. Is there a setting somewhere in iDrive where I can turn this feature on or is this a bug I need to report to my dealer?

move the switch on the driver door to select the driver mirror. It's probably flipped to the side of the passenger mirror.

Slide the side mirror switch to the driver's side mirror position. Left for right-drive countries (eg USA) and right for left-drive countries (eg UK)
