Creaking drivers seat😡

My drivers side seat is creaking around the lower left side plastic molding! Anyone else experience this? Any ideas on how to mitigate?

Trip to the dealer presumably?

EDIT: sorry! thought this was an issue in a new vehicle. I see it's not!

Ha ha, I have exactly this and have been messing around the last few days trying to cure without just removing the whole piece of trim and driving it 'naked'!

On my car, its the trim around the seat adjustment buttons panel. If you grab that trim and pull it away from right around the seat adjustment panel, you can hear it click as the clips come away, and click click as push them back in. I am 99% sure this is the noise I am getting when driving especially when taking hard right turns (I'm in the UK with a RHD car so it would be hard left turns for you).

When I removed that whole panel for a test drive, the noise went away but I can't leave it off as it looks terrible without the trim, so still working on a fix.

We have the same issue. The dealer has tried to fix it twice already, no luck so far.

Just starting get this when OH drives. My initial solution ("well, I'll drive then") for some reason was rejected ;-)

I'll have to see if it's in the same place as mobilejo . I wonder if there is a way to perhaps put a bit of bluetac or a nib of paper to wedge it in...?

G Whizz UK,
How do you get the persons handle to show up like you did in your reply post?

Type @ and start typing the member's handle. Like this Marty in NY. It works about 70% of the time in the mobile Bimmerpost app or on Bimmerpost web page. The other 30% of the time you: a) try it 5 times in desperation, b) swear for the billionth time at shitty unreliable software the world pumps out daily, c) say screw it, delete the post, and go do a pleasant something outside.

Yap. You can also do it manually if you know both the mnemonic handle and the userid number. For example, you can also do me by the following explicit code (remove the space between @ and the rest): @ [LexxM3](contact:424794) (actually, I think the mnemonic is just for the display text, so you could also reference me by using something else in the square brackets like this: LexxM3 wasting time in Waterloo)

But we should get back on the creaking topic ...
