Another E90 sedan Delivery! Sparkling Graphite / Black / 18's / Blacklines

New to the forum and wanted to post a few pics of my M3 Sedan. So far, I've added Huper Optik 30% tint, Matte Black Grills, 3M Clear Bra and Blackline Taillights. I know the orange reflectors look horrid and am still awaiting the flush mount version. I purchased a set of OEM 19's prior to arrival but was so impressed with the stealth look of the 18's on SG, I decided to keep them on for now. Coming from an RS4, I'm looking forward to getting past break-in and experiencing the M's full potential. 900 miles and counting...

Enjoy

Grats! How would you compare the RS4 in terms of driving/handing vs the M3

Looks great. My e92 graphite/black is still on order. I got every option except the HD radio, moonroof, and the 19s because I like the way the 18s look. I have not yet seen them in person, but people say they look awesome.

I like it! The black grills and Blacklines look nice. Did you paint the grills or did you purchase them?

Thanks! Painting the chrome grills is not a good option due to easy chipping. I purchased these from Jlevi SW for under $100. I got the Blacklines new on Ebay for $220! Both took under an hour to install. This car is so easy to work on compared to the RS4.

Well, I had the Stasis/Ohlins suspension on the RS4 which was an incredible upgrade over the stock DRC (crap) system. Bone stock M3 seems to be better in all areas though I haven't had the car on the track yet.

That is exactly how I want to order an M3! Damn that is a hot looking combination. The renderings on BMW's website don't do it any justice (and I've looked at it a lot lately.)

Blacklines should be standard in my opinion (or whitelines on the lighter colors.) It just looks so much better than the "sea of red" in the standard rear taillights.

Now, don't answer right away, but........

Can I have it????

Gonna have to agree with this comment. However, the pictures above look amazing though. Good luck staying out of the bright sunlight.

Neither color on the e90 or e92 really blow me away. I would have preferred Ti Silver or Ti Grey. SG is definitely more interesting than the Space Grey coupe my dealer had. That color is fine for an SUV or wagon but a bit too bland for the M3 IMO.

But it's purple.

Are you? Eggplant is a shade of purple and brown.

In essence, the same thing.

seeing this sparkg with the 18's and having seen a space grey with the 18s, i think that the sparkg takes the win in color match. hard to be sure though considering lighting issues.
