Ok maybe I am going crazy…. When on a phone call, the right side of my dashboard at first shows the details of the call (time elapsed, and options to mute or end call). However, after a few seconds of call the display reruns to showing the audio source even though I am still on a phone call. If I scroll the wheel on the right side of the steering wheel, the phone display comes back for a few seconds before going back to the radio display. Did it always work this way and I have lost my mind? Or is something up? I seemed to start noticing this after using bimmercode to change a seatbelt warning. I restored from the backup in bimmercode and the same remains…..

I posted a few days ago in the general forum but adding more info here…. Thanks in advance.

what model year X5 and software version?

I have a 2021 on 03/2023.50, and it does not do this. whether on radio or streaming music via CarPlay, it stays on the phone call screen during an active call. I’ve also done many codings on BimmerCode

It is a 2022 45e running the most recent version of everything. I too had done coding in the past and never had this happen….

Unlikely it is the recent version as that is 11/2023.25 unless you were at the dealer in the last week or so.
