Cleaning the instrument cluster screen

I've searched...and found some posts in other forums, but no definitive answers, so I'm reaching out to the G05s....

I'm speaking only of the instrument cluster screen, and not the iDrive (where I successfully use just a microfiber wipe or rubbing alcohol...).

I screwed up when I first bought the car, and attempted to clean the instrument cluster screen...and now have streaks which I've been living with for two years. I've tried just water and microfiber..no help.

Has anyone had success cleaning this screen, and if so, what was used/the process?

TYIA.

You might try this product.

Eveo Screen cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/Screen-Cleane...1zcF9hdGY&th=1

I would use the product in two steps:

1) Spray the product very lightly on a completely clean (soft) microfiber cloth. Dab the display gently in order to pick up / remove any dust / particulates that may otherwise scratch the display if you were to wipe across it

2) On another (clean) area of the microfiber cloth, lightly spray more product and gently wipe across the display. Wipe the display one more time with a clean dry section of the microfiber.

I use Lens wipe the ones you can use on electronics and eyeglasses.

However that doesn't always take off the streaks.

I thought I had burnt in marks on my LCD.

Get a clean microfiber towel and go at it. It'll take some work but it'll come off.

My screens are crystal clear, here are my steps:
1) Purchase waffle weave towels, they won't leave lint
2) Clean screen with a spray bottled filled with 50% isopropyl alcohol, 50% distilled water (or boiled water if you don't have distilled)
3) Clean screen with Stoner Invisible Glass, with a clean towel
4) Dry with a clean towel. Not in circle motions, up and down or side to side.
